Change the Brain; Relieve the Pain; Transform the Person

Neuroplastic Transformation Program: Laying the Foundation -
A Physician Guided Series

Our objective is to help individuals suffering with persistent pain, their caretakers and their treating practitioners to learn how to utilize the Neuroplastic Transformation Program as part of a comprehensive treatment program. The ultimate goal of the Neuroplastic Transformation Program is to develop multiple strategies to reduce pain with pleasure, allowing individuals to restore and transform their lives. Dr. Golden and Dr. Moskowitz worked together to develop neuroplastic treatment approaches in each of their practices for several years. They have used these approaches with their patients and have incorporated them as the core treatment for patients with persistent pain. Both are board certified in Pain Medicine by the American Board of Pain Medicine. Their approach acknowledges the role of neuroplastic change in the process of persistent pain. The program utilizes neuroplasticity to reverse the process of persistent pain. The Neuroplastic Transformation Program is designed to be the basis for all treatment approaches. Although current treatment approaches can be effective, there is a lack of a cohesive core to treatment. The disease of persistent pain is a dynamic neuroplastic process. All successful treatment approaches must be as dynamic and with the intention to create neuroplastic change that will break up and eradicate the pain. Incorporating treatment approaches utilizing neuroplasticity techniques is the way to treat persistent pain. Dr. Golden and Dr. Moskowitz have dedicated themselves to the development and promotion of neuroplastic treatment approaches to reverse persistent pain and return the body and brain to normal function.
PATIENT BASED WEBINARS

INTRODUCTORY WEBINAR: Neuroplastic Transformation Program: Laying the Foundation
This introductory webinar "Neuroplastic Transformation Program: Laying the Foundation" is part of a collaborative physician guided series. It will provide an overview of the Neuroplastic Transformation Program's key techniques developed by Michael H. Moskowitz, MD and Marla D. Golden, DO. During the first webinar, Dr. Golden and Dr. Moskowitz will provide attendees with background on how the Neuroplastic Transformation Program started; discuss the basic tenets of the Neuroplastic Transformation Program necessary to achieve success; review the Neuroplastix Poster; and ask attendees to submit questions to be answered in a Question and Answer session at the next monthly webinar.
WEBINAR ONE:
Basic tenets of the Neuroplastic Transformation Program, R.A.F.T., M.I.R.R.O.R. and N.O.R.M.A.L., in more detail as well as the utilization of Thoughts, Beliefs and Ideas about Pain and "The Scent Circuit."
This webinar "Neuroplastic Transformation Program: Laying the Foundation - Part One" is the first of a collaborative physician guided four part series. In this webinar, Michael H. Moskowitz, MD and Marla D. Golden, DO will describe and discuss the basic tenets of the Neuroplastic Transformation Program, R.A.F.T., M.I.R.R.O.R. and N.O.R.M.A.L., in more detail as well as the utilization of Thoughts, Beliefs and Ideas about Pain and "The Scent Circuit."
WEBINAR TWO:
Sound and vibration, active vs passive treatment, paradigm shift of patient and practitioner, empathy, altruism and mirror neurons
In Webinar Part Two, Dr. Golden and Dr. Moskowitz will discuss the neuroplastic technique of using sound and vibration to wire away from persistent pain. They will also discuss the concept of active and passive treatment emphasizing the paradigm shift of the patient and the practitioner, together, as they move through the Neuroplastic Transformation Program. Finally, they will discuss empathy and altruism in relationship to the role of mirror neurons.
WEBINAR THREE:
Touch, Connective Tissue System/Extracellular Network, Brain-Body Loop, social interactions, relationships and culture
In Webinar Part Three, Doctors Golden and Moskowitz will discuss the magnificent neuroplastic engine of touch. They will discuss the elements of the connective tissue system and the cells within it that create the brain body loop with similar cells in the nervous system to explain the process of persistent pain. Utilizing touch as a neuroplastic technique can create dramatic changes in the reversal of persistent pain. These techniques will be discussed at length. Recognizing the importance of connection within our world, we will move beyond the connectivity within us and discuss the importance of social interaction, relationships and cultural experiences as part of a 'Neuroplastic Transformation.'
WEBINAR FOUR:
Fascia, movement, visual sensory system, persistent pleasure as a cure for persistent pain
